About Marsha

MarshaAs Head, Collections and Digital Initiatives, Marsha oversees the Special Collections unit and provides leadership for creation and maintenance of the Michael Schwartz Library’s digital initiatives including the Cleveland Memory Project and EngagedScholarship@CSU. She also coordinates the integration of metadata creation, use and practices throughout the library to enable discoverability of the Library’s digital resources.

Previously, she managed a variety of collaborative digital projects at The College of Wooster and assisted in the creation of online collections and exhibits at Oberlin College.

Marsha is also a photographer, and her art background earned her the role of Cleveland State University contact for Octavofest. CSU is one of the founding members of Octavofest, which includes events throughout Northeast Ohio celebrating the book and paper arts every October.

Marsha has a Bachelor of Science in Photo-Illustration and Master of Library and Information Science from Kent State University.
